Working towards our minerals and energy future: Siecap joins Queensland Resources Council (QRC)

The Siecap team is excited to announce that we have joined independent industry body the Queensland Resources Council (QRC).

The QRC is a not-for-profit peak industry association representing the commercial developers of Queensland’s minerals and energy resources. QRC works to secure an environment conducive to the long-term sustainability of the minerals and energy sectors in Queensland. In close collaboration with member companies, kindred organisations, regional partners and key stakeholders, the QRC works to achieve positive outcomes for QRC members.

“We are pleased to join the QRC and its members in playing a pivotal role in mining in Queensland,” said Siecap CEO David Irvine. “Our consultants are highly experienced in working with mining clients to navigate the complexities of the industry now and into the future.”

The QRC is recognised on all sides of politics, in the media and amongst other industry groups for its non-partisan advocacy of a sector-wide agenda that underlines the critical contribution that minerals and energy production makes to the state and, ultimately, the nation. It works to promote the industry, engage government and encourage excellence.
